Silver and Paper celebrates the township of Warkworth New Zealand which was founded 150 years ago. Characteristic aspects of Warkworth have been displayed as images and jewellery. Like the Mahurangi River or an icecream, the selected subjects date in time from the past to the present. The source of all the artwork is current indicating that the things left standing are makers and shapers of our culture. My art making tools and processes too, evolve with time and the employment of such things as a wooden rolling pin and digital technology convey in my individualized artform, the journey.
